Reflect Foundation Yield Calculator

The Yield Calculator was built for the Reflect Foundation, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) focused on the Reflect Protocol ($RFI). The protocol featured an interesting tokenomics model, where a 1% fee on every transaction was distributed proportionally to holders of the token. The goal of the Yield Calculator was to allow users to estimate how much they could potentially earn from holding $RFI, based on the token’s price and transaction volume.

Technical Features:

• Mathematical Formulas: I developed the formulas that calculated potential earnings based on fluctuating token prices and trading volumes.
• Web Integration: Collaborated with a web developer to bring the tool to life on the Reflect Foundation’s platform, making it easy for users to interact with.

Additional Details:

• Purpose: The calculator aimed to help Reflect Protocol users understand their potential earnings from $RFI token holdings.
• Outcome: Unfortunately, despite the effort, the project didn’t come to fruition. The Reflect Protocol’s token ultimately failed before it could go live, which is a reminder of the volatile and unpredictable nature of the crypto space.
